Tim and Jodi

Tim and Jodi were looking for financial advice as they wanted to be able to provide a better future for their children, which included funding school fees, and gift them with a deposit for a house, as well as having a comfortable retirement for themselves.

After being introduced to Wealth Experts by an existing client of ours, and having initial conversations with Tim and Jodi, Jack Farmer, Financial Planner, took a look at their options and explained how they would be able to achieve their objectives.

Our approach

At Wealth Experts we know that each client needs a tailored, financial plan. When we sat down with Tim and Jodi for an initial discovery meeting, we were able to get a clearer picture of their finances and find out what their priorities were for the future.

Our preliminary meeting with Tim and Jodi also allowed us to discuss any concerns or worries they had, and after learning more about their financial position, the priority for them was to be able to provide a safety net for their children’s future, as well as their own. In order to achieve the best outcome, we reviewed their finances and working with Jack, Alex Meadowcroft, Paraplanner, built a cash flow plan that represented what their future could look like with their current position.

It was clear that in order to meet their requirements, the plan needed to show that they would either have to abandon certain one-off spending objectives or curtail their desired retirement style.

Using this plan as a baseline, Jack formulated recommendations that would make use of their existing assets, and surplus income in order to maximise the growth potential of their money. After implementing these recommendations into the plan, the cash flow showed that Tim ad Jodi’s objectives would be achievable.

The results

Due to the research and planning from Jack and Alex, Tim and Jodi are now able to continue with their desired lifestyle in retirement. They have clear goals from the cash flow plan provided, which will enable them to provide their children with the support they anticipated for when they first approached us. Tim and Jodi now feel confident that their finances are now in hand for both their children’s future and theirs.
