Executive Assistant

I moved to Stoke in 2002 and started as a secretary for a financial adviser at a firm of solicitors. I have recently joined the Wealth Experts team as an Executive Assistant to Paul and Suzanne.  My day is extremely varied but involves anything from organising tasks, finalising reports, processing applications, managing client accounts on platforms, and dealing with any queries as they may arise.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Everyone has been extremely helpful and have truly welcomed me in to the team.  I would say the thing that I enjoy most about my job, is the variety of work, every day is different!

How do you most like to spend your time outside of work?

I look after my two young grandchildren once a week, they sure keep me entertained!

As well as training at the gym in my spare time, I have a passion for Karate, and I’m the Senior Karate instructor for Go Kan Ryu (GKR) in Stoke.

Since 2004, I have competed in regional, national and world cup tournaments with GKR, winning gold at the GKR World Cup in 2015 and am the current National Champion for my age division. Something I am extremely proud of!
