Trainee Paraplanner

I graduated from Keele University in 2022 after studying Economics and Finance. After graduating, I managed to secure some work experience in accounting and it this work experience which helped me to realise that I enjoyed working in finance and dealing with clients. I have recently joined Wealth Experts as a Trainee Paraplanner. It’s a great role for me, and I really enjoy supporting the advisers through carrying out research and analysing investments.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love working with a great team to help clients reach their financial goals. I find working with such talented people every day helps me gain more knowledge and experience, and helps to develop my skills. I plan to work my way up to be an adviser one day.

How do you most like to spend your time outside of work?

I enjoy working with an autistic child who I have been assisting for the last year and a half. I had previous experience through volunteering at a play scheme for autistic children and at care home for the elderly prior to that. I usually help him with homework, and we’ll go to the park but during school holidays we try to plan a big day out to places like the safari park or the beach.
